The foundation focuses on the advancement of better life opportunities for all inhabitants of East Jerusalem, so that, in the long term, they can build a brighter future for themselves and their families.
Inequalities create tension. Poverty and the inability to look toward a bright future create further tension and reinforce the conflict. To promote peace, the subject of poverty must be addressed. Investment of effort and resources must be undertaken to break the cycle of poverty and bring hope for the future to the inhabitants in East Jerusalem.
Dan is a world-renowned Swedish entrepreneur and philanthropist. Over the past 35 years, Dan has built a global IT-services company, The Danir Group employing over 10,000 people worldwide.
Together with his wife Christin, he founded Star for Life, a charitable foundation focused on empowering young people to fulfill their dreams and live healthy lives.
Ambassador Reda Mansour is a senior Israeli Career diplomat. He has served as the Ambassador of Israel to Brazil, Ambassador to Panama, Ambassador to Ecuador, Deputy Ambassador in Portugal, Consul General of Israel in Atlanta, Dean of the Atlanta Consular Corps, and Consul in San Francisco.
Now he takes on the role of Chief Executive Director for SFL Jerusalem.
