Biography: Reda Mansour


Reda Mansour is a poet, historian, and diplomat. With his diplomatic skills, he is well-suited to lead an organization in a complex environment and listen to different views.


He holds a Ph.D. from Haifa University where his doctoral work focused on the history of modern Syria. He also holds a master’s degree from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and speaks five languages. He was a professor at the University of Haifa and Emory University in Atlanta.

Mansour has extensive experience in community development projects. in South and North America. This includes capacitation and training programs in education, health, innovation, and the empowerment of youth and women. 

Dr. Mansour is a long-time activist in the promotion of peace, dialogue, and integration of minorities. In recognition of his efforts, he was inducted into the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Board of Sponsors at Atlanta’s prestigious Morehouse College.

Reda received numerous awards for his leadership and innovative Work, among them the International Heroes Award for Excellence, the “Juscelino Kubitschek” (Brazilian President) Medal of Merit, and the Tree of Life Award. He was chosen as one of the ”100 Most Influential Atlantans” alongside many prominent figures such as US President Jimmy Carter.
